The painting is made in the technique of old masters: first, the volume is created in black and white tones, and then a translucent layer of colored pigment is applied. This is an amazing work — a copy of a fragment of Botticelli’s painting "The Birth of Venus". I wanted to convey the charm of the hair and the tenderness of the look of Venus de Milo, and I think I succeeded.
